Spinnaker Tower Treat for Charity Club
To say thank you for all our fundraising efforts over the last few years, Chestnut Tree House invited some of our Charity Club members to visit the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
Although it was a bit drizzly, we had magnificent views over Portsmouth Harbour and everyone (except Mr Parkinson) enjoyed walking across the glass floor with a view down to Gunwharf Quay.
The children enjoyed a talk about the charity and heard how the money we raise goes to help the children and families that spend time at Chestnut Tree House. We also enjoyed delicious refreshments while looking out across the harbour.
Look out for details about this year’s ‘Reindeer Run’ which will take place in school during December. Sponsor forms and dates will be given out next half term.
