Have a go at emulating Art the style of Simon Hart, drawing and colour mixing effectively. You could use a trip to the beach as a starting point, or look at his work in the PowerPoint and then try to copy it and colour mix to match the tones he has used. You could even print one of his pictures and trace it to make this task easier.
