English – 3 Lessons this week
There will only be three literacy lessons this week due to Sustainability days on Thursday and Friday.
Over the next three lessons, watch the story of Romeo and Juliet using the video clips that the teacher will have sent on Class Dojo.
What do you already know about the story? Which category of Shakespeare’s plays do you think it belongs in? This is probably one of the best known of his plays and one that has been adapted in many ways. Do you know any different versions?
Look at the list of characters. What do you know about them? Using the cast list, match the name of each character and their role in the story.
Then use the thoughts and feelings bubbles sheet to write down your ideas about the different characters.
Choose one of the colouring sheets to complete and then summarise the story in 5 detailed sentences.
