Year 3 English – W/B 6th July 2020

Continued from last week…TFBFK…

Use this week to continue, improve, publish and illustrate your own Tudor story.

Remember, your teachers are looking for descriptive sentences, appropriate punctuation, exciting sentence openers, paragraphs, joined handwriting, varied conjunctions, and inverted commas for character speech, accurate spelling (use some Sparkle words from your spellings) and Tudor vocabulary. You may wish to write in pencil first before editing and writing in neat. We are looking for high quality writing!

Once you have written your story, use time to add illustrations to your story. Remember, your illustrations should explain the text you have written and if possible be on the same page as the relevant text.

Make sure you share your Tudor story with your teacher on Class Dojo. Dojo points will be awarded! Good luck!
